Kechacha & Robinson Win Vipers 10

Ramsey Kechacha (Shaftesbury CC) claimed victory at the Shaftesbury Vipers 10-mile time trial (Round 17) on 30 July 2025, posting 20:55 on a TT bike. Louise Robinson (Shaftesbury CC) topped the women’s category with 24:43 in this Essex cycling event.

Open Category Highlights and Results

Ramsey Kechacha dominated the open category, finishing over two minutes ahead of Adrian Tovey (Shaftesbury CC). Rob Young (Shaftesbury CC) secured third. The event, part of Shaftesbury CC's weekly "Vipers" series from April to August, attracted club riders on a mix of TT and road bikes, showcasing local talent on the rolling E83/10A course.

Course and Event Details

The E83/10A course, known as The Vipers 10, is a 10-mile rolling and short route starting at Mountnessing Village Hall in Brentwood, Essex. Organised by Phil Hodey of Shaftesbury CC under CTT rules, this "Come & Try" club event allows TT bikes & road bikes, with advance registration preferred but entries accepted on the night.
