In July our Wednesday Night evening TT's are using a new sporting course the starts and finishes in Caldecott via Rockingham, Gretton and Harringworth.
Please allow 15-20 minutes to ride to start from HQ.
This is a 10 mile time trial.
Guests are very welcome and they are encouraged to enjoy some refreshments afterward at the clubs licensed bar.
Alex Whitmore (Ratae RC) claimed victory at the Rockingham Forest Wheelers Club 10-mile time trial (Round 12) on 30 July 2025, posting 23:29 on a road bike. Mea Moore (Welland Valley CC) topped the women’s category with 28:11 in Northamptonshire.
Alex Whitmore led the open category with a strong road bike performance, finishing 25 seconds ahead of Chris Fowler (Rockingham Forest Wheelers). James Moore (Welland Valley CC) secured third on a TT bike. The event saw a mix of road and TT bikes, with junior rider Ethan Mitchell-Clarke (Team Bottrill) impressing in ninth overall at 25:24. The competition, part of the club’s 2025 series, showcased local talent on a fast course.

Youth rider Mea Moore (Welland Valley CC) took the women’s win with a road bike time of 28:11, tying for 22nd overall. Milly Pinnock (Welland Valley CC) and Linda Hubbard (Welland Valley CC) rounded out the women’s podium. Moore’s performance highlighted the strong youth participation in the event.
The K7/10 course is a 10-mile out-and-back route starting near Great Oakley, following the A43 and A6003 to the Rothwell roundabout, then returning to the finish near Corby. Run under CTT rules as a club event, it attracted 38 riders, with favourable conditions contributing to competitive times.
