Eastbourne Bicycle Club 1877 present the of The Beachy Head World Championship Penny Farthing Hill Climb
The world's only hill climb for Penny Farthings. The Beachy Head Hill climb starts on Eastbourne seafront and takes a winding route up the famous zig-zags of Upper Duke Drive, on to the world famous Beachy Head. Part of the Eastbourne International Penny Farthing Weekend. Open to original Ordinaries, Replicas & Modern Penny Farthings with a wheel size of 46" and above.
Eastbourne seafront and the zig-zags should be pretty quiet at this time of the morning and we hope to have a partial road closure, but to reduce the chances of a faster rider being held up behind a car trying to pass a slower rider I am going to seed you and send you off fastest first. Once you've entered, please contact me with your expected time up the climb. Please enter online before 6th August so I can do the seeding. Secretary@ebc1877.com
