We are based in Banbury, North Oxfordshire and cater for a variety of disciplines including road racing, time trialing, sportives and track.
We run five club rides each and every weekend, all of which start at the People's Park in Banbury and are led by British Cycling-trained ride leaders. Please be there 15 minutes before the leaving time for a pre-ride briefing and ensure your bike is mechanically sound, you have as a minimum a spare inner tubes, tyre levers, water, food, cash and a phone. Non-members can come on two "taster" rides before becoming full members.
Saturday 10am: A gentle cafe ride at 12-14 mph with a half-time break for coffee and cake. Expect between 25-30 miles.
Saturday 10am: An Intermediate ride at 16mph following a slightly longer route to the gentle cafe ride, approximately 35 miles.
Sunday 9am: Zone 2 training ride. Expect 18mph+. 50-60 miles non-stop.
Sunday 10am: The club's Intermediate ride which is 16mph over 35-40 miles, again with a half-time stop for refreshments.
Our evening club time trial series run from late March/early April to September every Wednesday and are open to club members and guests. In addition, we also hold one Open event, the 21 mile Hardriders, in March which takes in a descent and ascent of Sunrising Hill.
We also organise an open road race consisting of a men's and women's event which features three ascents of the Knowle at Edge Hill.
