Brighton Mitre Cycling Club was formed in 1894 and its name was derived from the club’s meeting place: the Mitre Hotel at 65 Queens Road, Brighton. The club offers friendly and inclusive social riding with group rides on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Club riders also participate in all manner of racing such as Crits, Track (at Preston park velodrome), Road Racing, TT's, CX, Hill Climbs and ultra-distance racing.
