The CTT Zwift TT Series runs for a second winter in 2026/2027. It is made up of 14 rounds split either side of the festive break: rounds 1 to 7 between 4 November and 20 December 2026, and rounds 8 to 14 between 6 January and 21 February 2027. Seven courses across seven Zwift worlds make up the series, three flat, three rolling and one mountainous. Riders can enter individual rounds or ride all seven to contest the general classification, which is decided on cumulative finish time. Round 1 opens on the flat Tempus Fugit course in Watopia on 4 November.
The organisers' announcement in full:
The CTT Zwift TT Series returns!
After a hugely successful inaugural run in winter 2025/2026, the winter TT series is returning for the 2026/2027 season! The action kicks off on 4th November and will feature 14 rounds split over two distinct racing periods. Rounds 1-7 will take place between 4th November and 20th December 2026, followed after the festive break by rounds 8-14 between 6th January and 21st February 2027.
7 Worlds. 7 Courses. 3 Parcours. 5 Open Categories. 5 Female Categories.
Featuring 7 different courses (3 flat, 3 rolling and 1 mountainous) in 7 Zwift worlds, riders can compete in individual rounds or qualify for the GC by obtaining a result on every one of the 7 courses. The series will be decided by a rider's cumulative finish time across the 7 routes so, just like in a real life TT, every second counts!
This year will see a slight change with categorisations compared to the 25/26 series. Previously, categories used Zwift's traditional w/kg boundaries but this year we are using the standard ZwiftRacing categories which are based on race results; each of the race categories in the series will cover two of ZwiftRacing's giving five Open and five Female race categories.
Round One
Last year, Round 1 of the series attracted over 1000 riders and this year we are aiming for more! All serious testers love a flat and fast course so we are opening things up with the much loved Tempus Fugit route - 19.6km of racing with only 32m elevation gain. A real Watopia classic! For each round there will be multiple time slots available, hopefully giving everyone who wishes to compete the opportunity to do so. What's more, you can ride in as many of the timeslots as you wish to try and improve on your time - only the fastest outing counts for the GC. Round 1 is already open for entry here and full series registration will follow very soon.
Prizes!
We've been working on some exciting developments behind the scenes! We are hopefully going to be able to offer prizes for overall category winners at the end of the series. This is still to be finalised but discussions are in progress so watch for announcements on the CTT club, discord channel, Facebook and Instagram - please do join the discussion to find out everything that you need to know. There will be some requirements regarding prize eligibility, namely that riders must be UK based (for shipping reasons), register for the overall series and use a smart trainer (which is accurate and calibrated) as the primary power source.
