On Sunday, Northampton and District CA hosts the 2025 National 25-Mile Time Trial Championship in Cambridgeshire. With defending champions John Archibald and Kate Allan absent, new winners will emerge in the open and women’s categories.
In the women’s race, Alex Clay (Team Bottrill) and Emily Martin (Team Bottrill), plus FTP Racing’s Laura Davies (FTP ( Fulfil The Potential ) Race Team )—last year’s second, third, and fourth-place finishers—are Spindata’s pre-race favorites for the Stilton course.
The open event sees Olympic sailor Matt Rossiter (George Fox Cycling Solutions ) tipped by Spindata to win by 37 seconds over 2023 champion George Peden (Team PB Performance). Watch for Will Lowden (HUUB WattShop), Adam Duggleby (ADDFORM Vive Le Velo ), and Jake Sargent (Team Bottrill) and Rob Francis (Team Bottrill). Junior Leon Atkins (258 Protege) is set to lead his age group.
In Wales, the 10-Mile Championship near Raglan spotlights junior Dylan Sage (Cannibal Bahrain Victorious), favoured to claim the title. He faces Anthony Jones (VMCC powered by Y Beic) and Oliver Tregear (Tofauti Everyone Active) Oliver Tregear. Jessica Disley (AeroCoach) is the one to beat in the women’s race.
Fife Century Road Club hosts the Scottish District 50-Mile Championship near Auchtermuchty. Graham Hollinger (Torvelo Racing ) aims to fend off Chris Smart (GTR - Return To Life p/b Streamline) Chris Smart and Rob Graham (GTR - Return To Life p/b Streamline). Margaret Mcmillan (Deeside Thistle Cycling Club SCIO) and Alexandra Hayden (Vanelli-Project GO ) are set to duel for the women’s title.
GTR Return to Life organizes a 10-mile event in Northumberland on Saturday and a 25-mile race on Sunday. Other events include:
